The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees the right to bear arms; however, individual states are allowed to regulate the sales and ownership of guns.  Kansas and Missouri gun laws in 2022 have remained largely unchanged; however, both have implemented modifications concerning concealed weapons and the ability to purchase guns in the past decade.
